Plug Power, founded 1997 in Latham, New York, builds end-to-end green hydrogen ecosystems—electrolyzers, liquefaction plants, trailers, fueling stations and fuel cells—serving logistics, industrial and heavy-duty, diverse fleet customers across America.

  1. GenFuel Hydrogen Station Solutions: Plug’s modular GenFuel package delivers onsite hydrogen storage, compression, dispensing and safety systems for fleets. Engineering, construction, commissioning and remote monitoring provide sub-three-minute refueling and scalability from forklifts to Class 8 trucks.
  2. High-Flow Direct-Fill Hydrogen Dispensing Station: Funded by a 2024 DOE grant, Plug’s next-generation dispenser integrates high-capacity pumps, sub-cooled liquid capability and dual 350/700 bar nozzles to deliver >8 kg min-¹, enabling rapid heavy-duty refueling at two-ton daily station capacity.
  3. PEM Electrolyzer Systems: Modular PEM electrolyzers from 1 MW skids to multi-hundred-megawatt plants convert renewable power and water into 99.999 % pure green hydrogen onsite, lowering delivered fuel costs and qualifying operators for 2025 U.S. clean-hydrogen production credits.
  4. 15 TPD Liquid-Hydrogen Liquefaction Plant: Hidrogenii’s Louisiana facility commercializes Plug’s cryogenic technology to convert pipeline H2 into 15 tons day-¹ of transport-grade LH2, supporting coast-to-coast tanker deliveries and raising network capacity to 40 TPD for nationwide fleet operators.
  5. Cryogenic Liquid-Hydrogen Transport Trailers: Lightweight double-axle trailers employ advanced vacuum insulation and aluminum construction to haul up to 13,000 gallons of LH2 at 80,000 lb GVW, maximizing payload while meeting DOT rules and minimizing boil-off losses for North-American fleet logistics.
  6. HL-1000D-P Portable Hydrogen Refueler: This self-contained trailer combines 3,000-gallon LH2 storage, pump, vaporizer and dual dispensers in one road-legal unit, enabling rapid, relocatable fueling for pilot bus, truck or off-grid programs without civil works or stranded assets.
  7. GenKey Turnkey Implementation Service: GenKey bundles infrastructure design, equipment supply, construction management, hydrogen delivery and operator training under a single contract, guiding fleets from site assessment through commissioning and continuous optimization with predictable total cost of ownership outcomes.
  8. GenCare Operations & Maintenance Program: Recent agreements show GenCare supplying 24/7 diagnostics, preventive maintenance, spares and on-site technicians for dispensers and fuel cells, assuring up to 97 % station availability over ten-year terms for fleet reliability.
  9. Green Hydrogen Supply Network: Plug’s Georgia, Tennessee and Louisiana plants ship 45 tons day-¹ of low-carbon hydrogen via its tanker fleet, offering fleets fixed-price fuel contracts and compliance with 2025 federal clean-fuel incentives.
  10. Equipment Lease Financing Platform: Launched in late 2024, Plug’s leasing platform underwrites up to $150 million in trailers, compressors and dispensers, letting fleets adopt hydrogen infrastructure with minimal upfront capital and predictable monthly operating charges.

Longer-Range, Zero-Emission Fleets are a Reality Today The transportation sector contributes a staggering 20 percent of carbon dioxide emissions globally. Fuel cell-powered fleet vehicles can achieve higher range, greater payload, and faster refueling, all for a lower cost of ownership than their battery counterparts.
