New Jersey Zero Emission Incentive Program (NJ ZIP): NJEDA offers vouchers up to $100,000 for businesses to purchase new, zero-emission medium and heavy-duty vehicles in overburdened communities. The program is funded by the RGGI and applies on a first-come, first-served basis.
Charge Up New Jersey: Provides up to $4,000 for purchasing or leasing a new EV under $45,000, and $1,500 for EVs priced between $45,000 and $55,000. Additional incentives include up to $250 for home charging installations.
NJ Clean Energy - Clean Fleet Electric Vehicle Incentive Program: This program supports local and state governments in transitioning to EVs by offering $4,000 for light-duty and $10,000 for medium-duty electric vehicles, with additional grants for EV chargers in overburdened municipalities.
NJ Clean Energy - EV Tourism Program: Grants are available for tourist sites to install EV chargers, offering up to $5,000 for Level Two chargers and $50,000 for Direct Current Fast Chargers. Applications are accepted until funds are depleted.
NJ Clean Energy - Utility Programs: In partnership with local utilities, additional incentives are available for EV charging infrastructure, potentially covering up to 90% of installation costs, under specific utility programs.
